DESCRIPTION:From 9 to 11 June 2026\, the MUSE DHC partner OPTIT will participate in the Euroheat & Power Congress in Kraków\, Poland\, the largest European event dedicated to district heating and cooling (DHC). Bringing together over 500 professionals from utilities\, local authorities\, industry\, and technology providers\, the Congress is a key platform for knowledge exchange\, collaboration\, and innovation in the heating transition. \nFor MUSE DHC\, the event represents an important opportunity to connect with European stakeholders and explore emerging trends shaping the future of the sector. The Congress will also provide a valuable occasion to discuss the importance of involving energy communities and citizens in the development of the heating and cooling sector\, as well as the role of digitalisation in DHC systems. As Chair of the DHC+ Platform\, OPTIT will contribute to the presentation of new resources developed to support the digital transformation of district heating and cooling networks. \nThese events align closely with the objectives of the MUSE DHC project\, which aims to foster more sustainable\, efficient\, and citizen-centred energy systems.

DESCRIPTION:On 24 June at 9:00\, join the MUSE DHC partner SPL Bois Energie Renouvelable at Les Assises européennes de la transition énergétique and play with them to learn more about district heating networks! \nThe workshop is designed to help participants understand the complexity of district heating networks by exploring trade-offs between technical\, financial and social considerations. The aim is to foster collaboration around an energy project based on real-life situation that SPL Bois Energie Renouvelable experienced as a DH operator. The game features bonuses and penalties that will challenge your fictional project. \nLes Assises européennes de la transition énergétique is a French annual event on energy transition that gathers around 3\,500 people from the energy sector as well as public authorities over three days. The 2026 edition will take place from 23 to 25 June in Dijon. Don’t miss it!
